Baltimore guys Future Islands are releasing their third album in October and with songs like this one it's no surprise a fair few people are counting the days. With an opening riff that sounds like an elephant trumpeting what's not to like? Throw in the awesome, almost-gutteral voice of lead singer Samuel T. Herring, a sparkling synth top melody, and a late-night-Eighties-MTV feel and you've got a track we've put in our top 10 of 2011 so far. The album is being released by the good folks at Thrill Jockey.
