album of the week: Big Troubles - Romantic Comedy
Romantic Comedy is the second full Length album from New Jersey’s Big Troubles and has been an Album Of The Week favourite from the minute we pressed ‘play’. Their sound is terrifically nostalgic - instantly familiar. From the opening number “Misery” you get transported back to the prime years of indie naval-gazing (think Pavement with more hooks). The 90s guitar-band sound that Big Troubles do so well is definitely a popular flavour at the moment but to shelve Romantic Comedy into that pigeonhole would be lazy. This album is its own kind of awesome: a trove of pop gems, one after the other, and one of our favourite records of the year without a doubt.

I went to Doll House and had the worst experience of my life. I ordered a dress 3 months before my formal and it didn’t come in. she told me the dress was customized but was told a week before my formal that they could not do it and was told to chose another dress from the shop which upset me as I had my heart set on the dress I ordered. Thank you Doll House for destroying my only formal it was the worst time.
